Palu, C Sulawesi, (antarasulteng.com)- Commander of the Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) General Gatot Nurmantyo and Chief of the National Police General Badrodin Haiti visited victims on Tuesday of a road accident that killed five military officers in Palu, Central Sulawesi.
The accident occurred on Sunday, Nov. 15.
"I and the Police Chief are here to visit my officers, who have been victims of an accident," General Nurmantyo told the press at Bhayangkara Police Hospital, here on Tuesday.
The accident was caused by the brake failure on a military truck, killing five military officers and injuring 16 others in East Lore, Poso District, Central Sulawesi.
The truck was one of five military trucks deployed to apprehend terror suspects in Poso.
