Palu, C Sulawesi, March (antarasulteng.com) - Government spending in Central Sulawesi exceeded the target in the first months of this year, a regional official said.
Spending was 1.65 percent above the target until February, 2017 reaching 6.65 percent of the whole year target of Rp3.587 trillion, secretary of the Team for the Evaluation and Supervision of Regional Budget Realization Yanmar Nainggolan said here on Friday.
Yanmar, who is head of the Development Administration Bureau at the Central Sulawesi Provincial Secretariat, said the government has hoped that realization of the spending is 96 percent of the budget set at the regional budget this year.
In a bid to speed up the realization, the regional administration has held evaluation and controlled the process led directly by Governor Longki Djanggola.
The problem faced by the government including provincial administrations last year was delay in government spending on a number of factors including projects being not yet ready for implementation.c
