Two Alleged Terrorists Shot To Death In Poso

Palu, C Sulawesi,  (antarasulteng.com) - Two members of Mujahiddin of East Indonesia who are blamed for terror activities in Poso, Central Sulawesi, were reported to have been shot and killed during a gunfight with the Tinombala Operation Task Force on Monday.

In the gunfight in the village of Kilo, Poso Pesisir sub-district, a task force member, identified as first private Zulfikar, was wounded, Antara reported.

The bodies of the alleged terrorists were evacuated to Bhayangkara hospital in Palu for identification, while the wounded soldier has also been treated.

After the clash, the Tinombala task force confiscated an SS-1 rifle and an air rifle believed to belong to the terrorists.   (skd)
