Jakarta (ANTARA) - Some 200 senior high school students were escorted to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Station for allegedly staging a violent rally in front of the parliament building in Jakarta Wednesday evening.

"It is true, the students staged a rally in front of the parliament building, and we later detained them," he said.
The police are still interrogating the students, he said.
The police has not established the motive behind the rally, Argo said.
None of the detained students carried sharp weapons during the rally, he added.
