Palu, Central Sulawesi, (antarasulteng.com) - Representatives from around 40 countries will attend the Celebes Travel Mart 2016 in Makassar, organized by the Sulawesi Regional Development Cooperation Body (BKPRS).
Head of the Central Sulawesi Tourism and Creative Economy Service Siti Norma Mardjanu said all regional administrations in Sulawesi are involved in the Celebes Travel Mart 2016 to promote and market their respective tourism objects.
"Celebes Travel Mart is an activity planned together by all regional administrations in Sulawesi to sell their tourist potentials," Norma Mardjanu said here on Friday.
Norma Mardjanu said one of the activities of Celebes Travel Mart 2016 to hold a forum which is expected to be attended by representatives from 40 countries.
The regional administrations would seek cooperation with the foreign countries to promote their respective tourism objects.
The foreign countries are also invited to invest in Sulawesi to create jobs and strengthen the competitiveness of the regions, Norma said.
Normal said tourism industry has good prospects in Sulawesi to accelerate development , create jobs and eliminate unemployment and poverty.
